Ray on my Mind will be presented after the holidays in Palm Desert. Bringing the highly revered and celebrated Ray Charles to life, the concert will tell the story of the legend.
Kenny Brawner, a master pianist and vocalist, will portray Charles as he leads his 11-piece orchestra. The Raylettes consist of three vocalists with sultry voices assisting Kenny as he presents some of the most popular hits in history, including “What’d I say?”, “Mess Around”, “Georgia on my Mind,” and “I got a Woman.”
Throughout the evening, monologues will describe the influences in the singer’s life and musical style. Gospel, jazz, blues and country have all played an important role in the evolving styles of Ray Charles over the years. Challenges faced over the years, such as his battle with addiction and American social history, are covered in the performance as well.
Often, venues will order poster printing from local printing services. Posters can be created in full color and highlight the features of a musical event such as the performer, musical styles, the venue, and contact or ticket purchase information.
The Ray on my Mind concert will be present at the McCallum Theatre on January 14, 2021, starting at 7:00 pm. The Ticket pricing ranges from $25 to $75. The theatre is located at 73Get a Free Quote for Posters
