The Palm Desert Rotary will be holding a golfing activity in November to raise funds for the FIND Food Bank.
The Hitting for the Hungry Palm Desert Rotary Golf Fundraiser invites people to play a fun round of golf for a worthy cause at the Monterey Country Club. The organizers will also have a raffle and give away tee prizes during the experience. Attendees will get a boxed lunch while at the club, and a continental breakfast. Sponsorship packages are available for brands wanting benefits like displaying their Logo Design on signage or being listed in the player guide.
The FIND Food Bank is a group that offers support to portions of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The organization is also a part of Feeding America and helps during emergency disasters. Each month, FIND Food Bank assists more than 150,000 individuals. The group’s goals include relieving hunger and the causes of it through education and community involvement. The charitable organization is even a member of the California Association of Food Banks.
The golfing fundraiser will occur on Monday, November 29 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Individual golfers can register for $150, while groups of four can pay $550 instead. Registration will close on November 22. Sponsorship costs for the occasion start at $150 and go up to $5,000. No refunds are available for this fundraiser.
