The Greater Palm Springs Tourism Foundation will be holding a golf tournament in May at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert.
The Tourism Foundation Golf Tournament is an event that raises money for student scholarships and training programs for those in the hospitality industry. Participants in the tourney will enjoy an afternoon of golf and an awards reception where they can take part in a silent auction and raffle. The Greater Palm Springs Tourism Foundation is a non-profit made in 2018 to support the local tourism industry.
The organizers are offering several sponsorship packages for the tourney. Companies can become a Hole Sponsor for $250 to have their signage placed at the sponsored hole. Businesses that purchase a Reception Sponsor package for $1,500 will receive four tickets to the event’s reception and an opportunity to include a promotional item in each golfer’s swag bag. The highest sponsorship level is the Presenting Sponsor for $5,000. Foundations that receive support from companies during events like this may send Corporate Gifts to their sponsors.
The golfing competition will be on May 4th at 12:30 pm. The reception will take place at 6:00 pm. Individual golfers can pay $250 to register for the activity, and groups of four may register for $900. People who want to attend the reception can pay $75.
