The annual LPGA Tour’s ANA Inspiration Ladies Golf Tournament in Palm Desert has been rescheduled for September.
Originally scheduled for early in the year, the tournament was moved in compliance with pandemic requirements. Tickets purchased for the previous dates are transferrable to the September event or are refundable.
A modern look and spirit are being promoted by new title sponsor All Nippon Airways to breathe a fresh component into the golf tournament. However, the tournament has a rich history, having begun as the famous Dinah Shore Classic and then changed to the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Some of the beloved traditions will be followed, including the champion jumping into the Poppie’s Pond after the final round.
Brochure printing is a key element in promoting tournaments of this type. Using high-resolution images, exciting content, and ticket information can be included in the Brochures. They can then be distributed to target audiences.
The original unique and beautiful trophy is on display in the Mission Hills Country Club that was crafted during the days of Dinah Shore. It is designed of 100% sterling silver. Standing at 18 inches high, it weighs 25lb. Shore herself presented it to the winners each year until her passing, and now a miniature replica with exact details is handed to the champions each year.
Tickets are now on sale for spectators, who should note the dates of September 10-13 for the rearranged tournament.
