Southern California will be a popular destination in the Palm Desert valley when February rolls around. Modernism Week will host the 16th annual festival in Palm Springs and surrounding cities that will bring 11 days of events to the region.
Highlighting mid-century architecture, landscape design, interior décor, and vintage culture, the festival will feature over 350 activities. Tours of famous homes throughout over two dozen neighborhoods, as well as the Signature Home Tour, will be offered over both weekends.
Other scheduled events include walking and bus tours and biking. Tours of Annenberg Estate at Sunnylands, along with nightly parties and garden tours, are part of the action. A classic car show will take place during the week. Informative presentations will also be offered.
Poster printing is a way of communicating information at events of this type in a compelling and concise manner. Local Print shops can create full color Posters in any size to fit all purposes.
Organizers accept donations for this event. For over 15 years, donations from the celebration of mid-century design festivals have provided over $200,000 in scholarships for local high school students for colleges as they pursue education in architecture or design.
The 2021 Modernism Week will begin on February 11 at 8:00 am and conclude on February 21 at 5:00 pm. Most of the activities are free to the public, while others may have a nominal fee.
