Free winter art tour coming to Palm Desert

Leaders in Palm Desert will present the first weekend public art tour in November. The City of Palm Desert is proud to offer free docent-guided tours for locals and visitors.

The tours showcase the public art collection throughout the city. Each month, a different collection is featured. Three tours are set up and rotated throughout the year including artwork located at the Palm Desert Public Library, the El Paseo Exhibition, and the Civic Center Park.

The fall tour will feature the display at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park. Participants should meet at the south entrance, off Fred Waring Dr, at Curt Mattson’s “Messenger of the Puul”.

Often, brochure printing is performed by local Print shops to market local activities. The Brochures can be printed in full color and can be a dual or tri-fold to contain the images and content, and can be placed at venues throughout the city to grab attention and increase attendance. Poster printing is also an effective method to communicate events.

Guests participating in the tour should wear comfortable shoes, expect a one-hour tour of walking, and bring along a bottle or two of water to stay hydrated on the walk.

The next tour in the monthly series will take place on November 2 beginning at 9:00 am. For information call 760-346-0611 or visit the website.
