Running challenge to take place in Orange
The Turkey Trot 5k Virtual Challenge run is set to occur in Orange next month.
Race participants can complete this virtual running event at any location in Orange on their own schedules. Participants are encouraged to track their mileage through wearable trackers, fitness apps and to write down the distance completed.
Runners can join the Strava Club or the Facebook Group for the event in order to share their progress with fellow participants and the event organizers.
Locals in Orange can register online for the running challenge at $35 per person. Individuals can optionally purchase a 2020 Turkey Trot Challenge Finisher Shirt for $20. Poster printing provides organizers of similar events with an efficient way to spread the word locally in almost any location.
The registration fee for participants outside of the US costs $50 per individual.
Race packets will begin to be shipped out during the first week of November. All participants will receive official race bibs and 2020 Turkey Trot Challenge Finisher Medals.
Participants who register as a team will have the opportunity to win the Biggest Flock Award, a patch that will be sent to the largest team along with their standard race packets.
