The Kiwanis Club of Orange will be presenting Concerts in the Park throughout the summer months.
Concerts in the Park will be free community concerts held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, dancing shoes, and appetites, as BBQ food will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the evening will go to fund Orange Youth Programs.
The first concert will be June 24th and will feature the Sam Morrison Band playing Southern Rock. They will be followed on July 8th with the 90's Rockshow, Stone Soul on July 15th, and Brad Johnson & the Killin' Time Band on July 22nd playing Southern Rock, country, classic rock and blues. Retro Revolution will take the stage July 29th playing 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010 hits. The Fenians, a traditional Irish and rock and roll group, will be ending the series on August 5th.
This concert series will take place at the Hart Park Bandshell, 701 S. Glassell Street.
Another concert series, OC Parks Summer Concert Series, will offer nine free concerts at Mason, Irvine, Craig, and Mile Square regional parks, and at Salt Creek Beach Bluff Park, starting July 9th with the Flashback Heart Attack and going every Thursday until September 3rd with Family Styles. Guests will also be treated to Queen, Selena, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Taylor Swift tribute bands.
Bands that play at free outdoor concerts like this often bring and sell merchandise imprinted with the band's logo or graphic design.
