Book lovers will be coming together for a swap event in Orange.
Books & Brew will be a fall book swap event that is organized by OC Books & Bows. Patrons are required to bring at least one of their own previously read Books to the event for donation however up to four would be ideal.
The donated Books will be placed on designated tables. Other guests will then be able to browse through the collection of donated Books and select the Books that they wish to take home with them. Attendees are encouraged to donate all types of Books and reading materials.
Coffee and light snacks will be available throughout the event to further enhance the welcoming, conversational atmosphere, which the organizers hope will foster new connections based on shared appreciations for literature.
The event is open to people of all ages. Tickets will be required for admission to the event, with two types of tickets available for sale. $5 Book Swap Admission allows guests access to the event, book swap, and a small gift. The $10 Book Lover Ticket includes all of the above, and provides a custom tote bag. Promotional Pens could be shared at such an event.
Books & Brew is scheduled to take place on November 23rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bluestone Lane Old Towne Orange Café located at 114 North Olive Street.
