Orange to host beginners router workshop
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware is scheduled to hold a Router Workshop for beginners in Orange next month.
The Rockler Woodworking and Hardware store sells woodworking and hardware tools and supplies. The company also hosts educational events and workshops that teach participants about woodworking.
The three-hour Orange class will teach beginners at woodworking how to use a router. Students will learn how to pick the ideal router for their varying woodworking projects. The workshop will also focus on aspects of routers in woodworking including basic cuts and techniques, bit selection, jigs, template use, joinery, and inlays. The organizers of similar workshops often utilize brochure printing to hand out printed references to each participant.
Those who wish to take part in the workshop can purchase tickets online for a fee of $75 per person. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
All event participants must wear facemasks and practice social distancing. Tools, classrooms, and seating areas will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to and after each class. If any tools involved in the workshop need to be shared between two or more participants, gloves will be provided at no cost as a health and safety precaution.
The Router Workshop is set to take place at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware on Saturday, January 2 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
