What's Happening in Orange, CA…

Orange to have spooky craft session

Orange will be ringing in the spooky season with a fun craft- and tea-filled event in early October.

Attendees will be making their own witch hats, each being unique to the individual. By filling out the registration form online, guests will have access to many options. These include the hat base, ribbons, tulle, pearls, feathers, cobwebs, roses, spiders, and gauze.

Some additional decorations will be available at the event. These will come from grab bags and the items include buttons, resin adornments, cat face-shaped appliques, glass eyes, and printed ribbons with a different Halloween graphic design. Some tropical flowers and leaves will also be available for anyone planning on going to the Hulaween event later in the month, with a number of surprises in the decorations. Glue and scissors will be provided to each table.

Tea will be provided to each group. Guests are asked to contact the venue about any dietary needs at least 10 days before in order to give time for accommodations to be made.

All sales will be final, although spots can be gifted to friends or family if the purchaser cannot attend. The cost of the event is $69.75, which covers the tea services, craft materials and instruction, taxes, and other fees.

The venue is Paris In A Cup, and the day of spooky fun begins at 11:00 am on October 1.
