Local city hosts South Asian culture show
The OC SASA Culture Show titled "Keeping Up with the Khans" will take place this May.
The event, which is held just a short journey from Orange, will feature an array of performances showcasing South Asian culture, including traditional dances and contemporary music.
It will kick off with a mocktail hour from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, featuring foods from local sellers, music by DJ Kush, and non-alcoholic beverages. Attendees will have the opportunity to socialize and enjoy the atmosphere before the culture show begins at 5:00 pm.
The culture show will highlight the roots of South Asian neighborhoods through a variety of performances. This part of the event will offer a chance for the audience to immerse themselves in both the traditional and modern aspects of Asian culture.
Tickets must be purchased online, as there will be no door sales. Food is not permitted in the event area, and attendees who do not comply with these rules may be asked to leave.
The show will go on for two hours and includes a 15-minute intermission. Given the event's popularity, attendees are advised to purchase tickets as soon as possible to secure their spot. Flyer printing can be helpful in providing the community with information about events such as this one.
It takes place this Sunday, April 28, from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Carr Intermediate School at 2120 W. Edinger Ave, Santa Ana.
