Car show returns for 29th edition

An annual charity car show is coming to Orange this Easter.

Hundreds of street rods, vintage cars, and custom creations will be on display during the 29th Annual Orange Plaza Rotary Car Show, which will take place in the historic Old Towne section, home to local eateries, art galleries, and antique shops.

Many awards will be presented at the event, along with gifts and raffles. There will be more than 40 specialty sellers offering a range of automotive-related goods and souvenirs.

The event's organizer, the Orange Plaza Rotary Club, will utilize the money raised to fund reading efforts, youth education programs, and community outreach projects. It is anticipated that the increase in tourists could help local companies.

For car show entries who miss out on a registration slot, standby admission at the gate will be offered for $70, which must be paid in cash. This opportunity will open at 5:45 AM at the southwest intersection of Chapman and Grand. Depending on the size and color available, T-shirts will be offered for sale individually during the event for $25 to $30. Promotional products can be used to advertise at such an event.

This year’s installment of the long-running show is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 13 at the Orange Plaza Rotary Club. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and admission is free.
