School fair returns to Lafayette

An organization that produces special events in and around San Francisco now has several free fairs on the schedule.

Bay Area Festivals is bringing its Camp & School Fairs to the region, with more than 80 exhibitors showcasing their products and services for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), arts, sports, schools, and camps. The fairs are free for attendees.

At this event, the Contra Costa Camp & School Fair, attendees will be able to view sports educational, cooking, preschools, STEM programs, performing arts, enrichment programs, and various camps that will be available this spring and summer.

A special guest will be at this camp, as Pete the Cat is scheduled to appear. Organizers of events like this might consider working with flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, listing the vendors.

Bay Area Festivals is offering four other free fairs in the area: the East Bay Camp & School Fair will be held in Emeryville March 12, the Silicon Valley Camp & School Fair is scheduled for March 19 in Sunnyvale, March 20 is the date of the 10th Marin Camp Fair at Dominican University in San Rafael, and the Tri-Valley Camp & School Fair is scheduled for March 26 in San Ramon.

All the fairs offer free parking and free admission, and are held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. The Contra Costa Camp will be held March 27 at Acalanes High School in Lafayette.
