What's Happening in Lafayette, CA…

For the 12th year in a row, the city of Lafayette will soon be holding a fun and tasty event that highlights the city's restaurant row.

Beginning with a wine reception at Lafayette Plaza, participants go from there on a walking tour of Lafayette's finest dining establishments. Diners have the opportunity to sample each restaurant's signature cuisine as they proceed at their own pace. For those who prefer to ride, a shuttle will be available.

After sampling as many of the participating restaurants as they wish, attendees will return to Lafayette Plaza for dessert and coffee. Tasters will also have the opportunity to take part in raffles, as well as silent and live auctions.

This year, 16 restaurants, two bakeries, and a flower shop will be included in the walking tour while seven restaurants and caterers will provide the appetizers and desserts served at Lafayette Plaza. Proceeds benefit the Lafayette Community Foundation and Lafayette Chamber of Commerce's programs and services.

In addition to highlighting its many fine restaurants, using a banner printing service with this type of event could reveal the vibrancy of a community to all who pass through the city.

Taste of Lafayette takes place on May 20 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The first and last hour of the event is reserved for the wine reception, with appetizers before the taste and coffee, desserts, auctions, and raffles afterwards.
