The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 42nd annual Community Thanksgiving Breakfast this November.
The event is open to all and has brought together politicians, business leaders and non-profit representatives in past years. It includes a breakfast buffet with a large selection and a presentation from a business leader. Sunrise Bistro Catering will provide the breakfast, which will include eggs, a choice of breakfast meats, fruit, potatoes, and a selection of pastries. Several gluten-free options will also be available, including sunrise granola, low-fat yogurt and berry compote. Beverage options will include coffee, tea, and orange juice.
The doors will open 7:00 am, at which time coffee will be available. Attendees often exchange Business Cards at this point in Chamber of Commerce events. The breakfast buffet will open at 7:15 am, and the speaker program will begin at 7:30 am. This year’s speaker will be Chris Helfrich, the CEO and President of the Eat Learn Play Foundation. Helfrich works to find creative business-driven solutions to local issues.
Those planning to attend need to purchase tickets in advance. The event cost is $35 per person, and tickets are available in the Chamber website until November 11. Space is limited, and tickets will not be available at the door.
The breakfast will take place on Thursday, November 17, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am at Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center.
