Lafayette-based non-profit Las Trampas is hosting its annual celebration and fundraising gala this March.
The event will begin with hors d’oeuvres and champagne, followed by dinner, dancing and a live auction. Several speakers will also present, with a focus on highlighting the resilience of the organization’s participants. Proceeds will benefit Las Trampas, which helps adults with developmental disabilities participate in the community, engage in satisfying work, and live as independently as possible. Its offerings include career services, residential programs, and educational opportunities.
Those planning to attend the gala should RSVP by February 23 on the organization’s website. The ticket cost is $225 per person. Attendees should wear cocktail attire. Since many participants are at high risk of complications from the virus, all attendees are asked to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a negative PCR test result.
Local businesses and organizations are invited to sponsor the gala, with several pricing tiers available. Sponsorship benefits include gala tickets, listings in the event program, and being listed by name or business logo in email follow-ups.
