Lafayette acupuncturist to host aging summit

Carrinna is hosting its inaugural Joyful Aging Summit for women in Lafayette this winter.

The summit will focus on holistic health and wellness for women over 40. It will include a guided meditation, panel discussions, a short networking session and a vendor fair. Panels will include local doctors, therapists and nutritionists. Attendees will learn to approach aging with self-love and acceptance while gaining an understanding of their options for skincare, hormone therapies and nutritional plans. Vendors will offer a range of products and services related to the conference theme, and will often use banner printing services to display their logos and business names at this type of event.

Those planning to attend can purchase tickets on Eventbrite. An early bird rate of $40 per person plus fees will be available through January 7. After that, the ticket price will increase to $50 plus fees. The full event schedule is listed on the Eventbrite page.

Carrinna is a local business founded by Carine Camara, an acupuncturist and holistic wellness expert. She is passionate about helping women accept themselves as they age. Her goal is to shift the conversation around aging, which she views as an artistic evolution rather than a gradual decline.

The Joyful Aging Summit will take place on Saturday, January 20 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Pillar Cowork in Lafayette.
