Breakfast will be served with thanks and a message of kindness at Lafayette's 41st Annual Community Thanksgiving Breakfast.
The Thanksgiving tradition is about more than just food. The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce holds the event as a chance for members of the community to come together in fellowship and thanks. The Chamber's website says it best:
“We invite and welcome everyone – politicos, non-profits, school representatives, business leaders, community leaders, religious leaders, Rotarians, our Chamber members, neighbors and the Lamorinda community to all come together to share in a delicious breakfast and enjoy a special speaker.”
The breakfast features special guest Sean Perlmutter, who will serve up his take on kindness in a 20-minute speech entitled “The Strangers of Kindness”. The former actor/director has become a renowned business consultant and executive coach, and he will discuss how to make kindness of part of daily life, and why it is important for the business bottom line. Lunch will be served by Lavash Mediterranean Restaurant and Catering.
Events such as these benefit from the services of Print shops, which can create high quality, professional-looking programs for attendees to take home with them as mementos.
The 41st Annual Community Thanksgiving Breakfast takes place on November 22 at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
