The Drive Out Hunger golf tournament is taking place in Lafayette next month.
Part of a fundraiser for Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa, golf fees will consist of 18 holes (scramble format), a barbecue lunch, and a buffet dinner. Various prizes and awards for achievements such as hole-in-one, closest to the pin, and the winning foursome with be available.
In addition to raising funds for a worthy cause, this tournament will also be a great networking opportunity for area business and community leaders.
Sponsorships are available from $200 up to $5,000. Sponsors will be recognized on hole Signs, at lunch, and at the dinner buffet.
Loaves and Fishes of Contra County distributes funds to community-based food programs in the area. The organization has also served over 4.5 million meals and distributed more than 252 tons of groceries to people in need.
Many of those participating in the tournament may be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite Lafayette printing company, taking advantage of the opportunities to exchange cards with their peers.
