The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Artisan Walk event in downtown Lafayette this fall.
Participating businesses will feature pieces made by local artisans. The Chamber’s retail sub-committee encourages residents to use the event as an opportunity to buy gifts for upcoming spring occasions like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduations. Local shops often use poster printing services to advertise their participation in this type of event.
Businesses with local handcrafted items and artworks will include Floral Arts Florist, Harper Greer, Indigo & Poppy, Lick, Reasonable Books, Sharp Bicycle, Soccer Post, and Ware Designs. A full list of participating businesses and the artisans they are working with is available on the Chamber website. Businesses interested in participating should contact the Chamber by either phone at 925-284-7404 or email at info@lafayettechamber.org.
The Artisan Walk is free to attend and does not require pre-registration. However, those planning to attend are encouraged to sign up for an email reminder. Those who sign up will be entered to win two tickets to Taste of Lafayette, a food-tasting event on May 21 that is currently sold out. After signing up, people will also receive updates about future Chamber events, including shopping events the retail sub-committee has planned throughout the year.
The first Artisan Walk will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm throughout downtown Lafayette.
