Interactive art event concludes in Escondido

A regional art showcase centered on wildlife imagery will conclude with a public reception in Escondido, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with creative works and educational displays.

The event will highlight nature through a range of visual formats, including painting, sculpture, and photography.

The display features contributions from artists including Julie Brooks, Ira Cosmos, Joan Hansen, Elena Miller, and Chelsea Paulus. Each will present interpretations of animals and natural environments through distinct artistic styles. The exhibition has emphasized interaction, encouraging attendees to explore not only the artwork but also hands-on elements and learning experiences designed to deepen appreciation for wildlife.

In addition to the visual presentations, the program incorporates an educational component developed in collaboration with a local agricultural organization. The exhibit underscores the relationship between farming practices and environmental preservation, illustrating how regional producers contribute to maintaining ecosystems and supporting biodiversity.

Throughout its run, the exhibition has included themed gatherings and community-focused activities intended to attract diverse audiences. The closing reception will serve as the final opportunity for visitors to experience the collection and engage with participating artists. As with many public art events, organizers often rely on poster printing to promote exhibitions, and highlight featured contributors.

Admission to the exhibition is free for all attendees. It will take place on Friday, May 1, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Escondido Municipal Gallery, 262 East Grand Ave.
