A teen-led production of The Addams Family Musical is set to take the stage at The Grand | Ritz Theater in Escondido. The musical will present a theatrical blend of humor, gothic themes, and family-centered storytelling across two nights of performances.
The show follows Wednesday Addams as she navigates an unexpected romance with a partner outside her famously unconventional family. The storyline unfolds when both families gather for an evening that quickly spirals into comedic tension, emotional revelations, and escalating chaos. The production emphasizes themes of identity, acceptance, and individuality through musical performance and character-driven comedy.
The production will incorporate musical numbers, comedic dialogue, and stylized staging to highlight contrasts between “normal” expectations and the Addams family’s eccentric worldview.
Ticket options are priced between $21.55 and $26.80, with general adult admission listed at approximately $25 and children’s entry (12 and younger) at about $20. All seating is assigned in advance. Organizers frequently use poster printing and other promotional materials to advertise local theatrical productions and community arts events across the region.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, allowing audience members time to settle before the performance begins. Refunds and exchanges are not offered for this event.
The production will take place on Friday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th, at The Grand | Ritz Theater, 301 E Grand Avenue, Escondido, California. The show will begin at 7 pm on both days.
