A specialty dining event combining barbecue cuisine, craft beer and premium cigars is scheduled to take place this summer at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in Escondido.
The evening will feature a chef-prepared menu accompanied by selected brews and curated cigar pairings, continuing a tradition inspired by Stone Brewing co-founder Steve Wagner’s appreciation for pairing tobacco and beer.
Guests will be served a multi-course meal centered on smoked and grilled flavors. The experience begins with a brisket-filled appetizer featuring cheddar cheese, roasted corn and poblano-based crema, accompanied by a Stone IPA. Additional courses include pork belly and cured bacon with a fruit-infused glaze, a seasonal salad featuring tomatoes and watermelon, and a smoked prime rib entrée served with potatoes, beans and a savory onion sauce.
Each dish will be matched with a different beer from Stone Brewing’s portfolio, allowing attendees to explore a range of flavor profiles throughout the evening. The meal concludes with a chocolate dessert accented by cherry and bourbon notes, paired with a specialty stout.
Tickets are available through a general admission package priced at $125, with service fees bringing the total purchase cost to $132.88 per person. The ticket includes all food courses, beer pairings and the three featured cigars.
