The holiday season has come to Old Tucson, the premier film location in Southern Arizona offering more than 300 feature Western television and Hollywood films. The Old Times Holiday celebration will have a festive atmosphere, with music from the holidays and a visit from Santa Claus.
There will be two special live shows: a heartwarming musical called ‘The Magic of Christmas’ and a light and comedic satire in an old western town named ‘Mistletoe & Mayhem’. In addition, there will be a pictorial presentation of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, a petting zoo, and the arrival of Santa Claus on a wagon on December 23.
Old Times Holiday is also collecting food donations for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Those who make such donations will save $3 off the price of admission for an adult and $2 of the fee for a child.
Between now and December 14, Old Times Holidays is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and this changes to daily from December 19 to 23. It is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then reopens on December 26, after which it is open daily until New Year’s Day.
Poster printing is one means that Old Tucson can use to promote this festive seasonal event and attract families while doing some good for the community.
