Over the upcoming July 4 weekend, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, with headquarters in Tucson, will be offering discounted adoption fees for kittens.
The fee is typically $115, but will be reduced to $100 per kitten, while those who adopt two kittens will pay a total of $150.
These fees include deworming, initial upper-respiratory and distemper vaccinations, costs for spay and neutering, testing for feline leukemia and FIV, rabies vaccines for cats three months and older, micro-chipping, and a free visit to a veterinarian.
During the spring and early summer, there was a birth rate of kittens that caused the shelters of the Humane Society to hit maximum capacity.
Locations at which people can adopt these kittens include the headquarters of the Society and two PAWSH stores run by it, as well as three participation PetSmart stores in Tucson.
A nonprofit organization such as this one usually requires the services of a flyer printing service to help disseminate more information about drives to adopt pets and the benefits of doing so, both for the animals and their human owners.
There are more than 90 kittens that will be available in Tucson at the five locations, starting on July 3 and running until July 5. The offer will be available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on each of these days.
