The Tempe Festival of the Arts will be celebrating the holidays in early December.
Sunshine Artist magazine ranks this annual festival among its Top 100 Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows in the country and the International Festival and Events Association has given it its prestigious Pinnacle Award.
Executive Director of the Downtown Tempe Authority, Kate Borders, expressed her excitement that the festival can be held this year. She added that the support of the city of Tempe will enable it to be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Featured at the festival will be artist booths and food trucks. There will be about 300 artist booths with unique and handmade artwork, offering attendees a distinctive shopping experience. Such vendors often order Flyers from local Print shops with more information about their goods and products for the purpose of attracting interest.
Among the food options will be kettle corn, steamed buns, and Dole Whip. No live entertainment will accompany the festival, meaning shoppers can give their full attention to the food and art items.
The Festival will take place on the city streets of downtown Tempe, on 5th Street and on Mill Avenue, and will run from Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6. Hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and there is no charge to attend.
