A new luxury hotel is on the way to Tempe.
Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants recently made the announcement that it has been chosen as the company that will manage the facility, which offers 237 rooms and will be located in the One Hundred Mill. This is a mixed-used development set to begin construction this November.
If plans go as expected, the hotel will open in late 2017. It will offer 12,000 square feet of indoor meeting area, along with a rooftop terrace lounge featuring a pool. There will also be a bar and a full service restaurant, and a fitness center.
The CEO of Kimpton noted that the economy of Tempe is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth and development, and that this new hotel will give tenants in the nearby office spaces an opportunity to enjoy first class accommodations as well as the pool, lounge, and restaurant.
