GoDaddy Inc. will be moving into a new headquarters in Tempe.
The new headquarters are in the Arizona State University Research Park which is near Warner Road and Loop 101 on GoDaddy Way. The tech company has consolidated its employees from an office in Gilbert with those from its former office in Scottsdale. GoDaddy has a workforce around the world of 9,600 people, 3,100 of which are in Arizona. Such moves often require hiring Stationery printers, as Letterheads and other business-related materials often need to be updated.
GoDaddy is actively hiring new employees. Vice president of global real estate for GoDaddy, Calvin Crowder, said that the company will be using a “Hub-Club-Home” model. This means that some employees will work in the office full-time, which is the hub; some will work part-time in the office, which is the club; while others will work only from home. The move to Tempe enables the company to provide such flexible work options for its employees.
Crowder added that although there may be fewer people in the new office space in contrast to previously, it will be used more intentionally. He said it will be a place where people can come together and meet and collaborate with one another.
The new location attracted GoDaddy as it is close to Sky Harbor International Airport and major freeways, as well as Arizona State University and Tempe Town Lake.
