The 6th Street Market is currently opened in downtown Tempe on Sundays at the recently renovated 6th Street Park that surrounds Tempe City Hall.
Recurring events such as this one often turn to banner printing to promote themselves.
The market has been updated with special events and programming, yet still highlights the artisans and craftspeople based in Arizona. Among the newly planned events is a First Sunday Fitness event that will take place monthly. This will feature pure barre instruction and free workout sessions. There will also be two signature dog-oriented events, a Pastry Throwdown, an Asian Street Food pop-up, and special programming for the holiday season.
Beginning on November 29 and running through December 22, there will free gift wrapping. Other holiday opportunities will include Selfies with Santa and Dogs of 6th Street, and a Holiday Foods Pop-up.
Julie Kent, Director of Placemaking for the Downtown Tempe Authority, said that the market offers not only one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts but the chance for those in the community to connect with artists, bakers, and others in a unique environment. She invites people not only from Tempe but the surrounding community to engage in this community experience.
The market will run through April 5 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm every Sunday, except for when the Tempe Festival of the Arts takes place in the downtown area.
