Tempe area session to explore benefits of iconic events
A Tempe area Chamber of Commerce serves a variety of roles for its membership, and one of its events will explore the impact major events have on the area’s economy.
The activity will be welcoming all those who are interested in engaging in a deep dive panel discussion of how the area’s iconic events have benefited its economic growth. Examples of these include the Waste Management Open, the Fiesta Bowl and Barrett Jackson. Three speakers have been engaged for the session, and it is part of the larger AZ in Focus community conversations series.
The function will see the panel review how large events can increase community engagement, and the past, present and future of these activities will be discussed as well.
The event will provide attendees with the chance to connect with other local leaders, share their own personal perspective and expand their network of contacts. The goal is to work towards creating a sustainable and vibrant local economy, and both Chamber members and non-members are welcome.
The agenda for the morning will open with a check in and half-hour meet and greet session. Business cards are powerful networking tools and can be custom designed to suit the unique personality of an individual or company.
This in-depth exploration of the benefits of holding large events in the Tempe area will be welcoming registrants at 2575 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix. It will be hosted by the Greater Phoenix Chamber and check in will begin from 8:30 am on December 4.
