A charitable event linked to the recent Super Bowl in Arizona raised more money than organizers had thought probable.
Over $1m was raised at the grand event. This was comfortably above the target that had been set for the Big Game, Big Event party.
Organizers of other charity fundraisers in the state may be inspired by what was achieved on the night. Using a Print company in Tempe is one way of attracting the public to an event in Arizona.
Linda Pope, co-chairperson of the party, was pleased by what was achieved and said:
“It just shows what a philanthropic state we are.”
The Big Game, Big Event concept has been put into action on several occasions. This time, the evening took place with fireworks. A cake big enough to serve 500 people was put on display.
The money raised was split into three portions. Most of it went to the Giving Back Fund. However, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix also gained, while the Mark Wahlberg Foundation did not miss out either.
The director Michael Bay, the actor Mark Wahlberg, and the film producer Joel Coen were all in attendance. Politicians and businesspeople rubbed shoulders with celebrities on the night. Singer Jordin Sparks performed for the special guests. An auction was held to encourage people to be as generous as possible.Get a Free Quote for Print
