The Resident Company Program has recently been launched by the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA). This program has been overhauled based on feedback from organizations, artists, and resident companies to align with the ever-changing needs of the arts community.
The Resident Company Program of the TCA invests in cultural and performing arts organizations that have demonstrated potential to advance the strategic goals of the city which are to enhance cultural literacy, vibrancy, belonging and inclusion, and regional distinctiveness. A multi-year commitment will be given to advance the business and artistic goals of selected organizations and businesses.
Benefits of joining this program include support for developing audiences; partnerships that are tailored to boost institutional and artistic capacity; opportunities to collaborate on projects that benefit both the organization and the TCA; an investment of up to $15,000 a year in cash for projects that are produced and/or presented by the TCA; and support for multiple years to achieve business and artistic goals.
Those who are eligible to apply for this program are non-profit organizations which have a commitment of three years to present a program of activities every year at the TCA with a minimum of three separate public programs or performances each year.
Brochure printing is one way to provide more information about criteria for applying to such programs and how they are implemented.
The deadline for application is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 11.
