Pizzeria concept to come to Tempe

Prince Street Pizza, based in New York, will be opening a location in Tempe at what was once Jimmy John's at CenterPoint on Mill Avenue.

The location spans 1,300 square feet. Prince Street Pizza is known for its Neapolitan and Sicilian-style square pizzas. Whole Sicilian pizzas are 12 inches by 17 inches in size and have eight slices. Whole Neapolitan pizzas are 18 inches in diameter. They are both sold by the whole pie and by the slice. Prince Street Pizza will also offer pizzettas, salads, appetizers, and desserts as well as three types of sauces in a jar.

Such new eateries can turn to local print shops to print menus and other such materials with more details about such food offerings and choices.

Lawrence Longo, owner of Prince Street Pizza, expressed his thrill about bringing his pizzeria to Mill Avenue. He said he is excited about sharing his Sicilian and New York style pizza with a community that is filled with enthusiasm and energy.

Prince Street Pizza opened in 2012 and has 14 locations, including San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto. Sam Gordon, principal and co-founder of Wexford Developments, said that Prince Street Pizza is one of the pizza companies currently that is growing the fastest in the country. He added that this concept will be an excellent addition to their asset at CenterPoint.

Prince Street Pizza is expected to open in January of next year.
