A mobile home park in Tempe will soon be the site for new luxury condominiums. The Tempe Mobile Home Park, with 42 units, closed in July 2018 after 60 years of operation under various owners.
Porchlight Homes, a developer based in Gilbert, is partnering with Treehouse Group, the current owner of the property, to build 80 attached townhomes on the property, each of them two stories high. The property is located at the southeast corner of University Drive and Smith Road and spans five acres.
The new development will be called The Level. Each townhouse will be 1,800 square feet in size and have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and either a study or a den, with four different floor plans available for the townhouses. There will also be a small enclosed backyard and an attached garage for two cars.
Amenities for the entire community will include a pool and lounge area and a community space. Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about other features and amenities of such homes.
Porchlight has not released pricing information on the homes, but it has developed over a dozen communities in the area. Prices in Buckeye at the Cottages at Verrado are in the upper $200,000 range, while those in north central Phoenix at the Lazy Day Manor are in the lower $500,000 range.
