Construction is about to get underway on VERVE Tempe.
This will be an apartment community reaching 15 stories tall on East Orange Street, offering students an easy walk to the campus of Arizona State University. The developer is Subtext, a national developer of student and multifamily housing, and this is its second project in Tempe.
The community will span 479,388 square feet and have 240 units. There will be a combination of units with one, two, three, and four bedrooms, and studio apartments for a total of 789 beds. In addition to being close to campus, the development will offer restaurant and retail attractions nearby and will be close to the Valley Metro Lightrail.
The community will also have retail space at street level spanning 2,030 square feet. Additional amenities will include a rooftop pool deck; a game room with golf simulator; dedicated study space with collaboration rooms, pods, and booths; a two-story wellness and fitness center with a spa, sauna, and yoga studio; and a coffee bar with hot and nitro options. Featured in the apartments will be an earthy and bright color palette with designer furnishings and attractive finish selections.
Such developments often turn to brochure printing to provide more details on features and amenities to help attract tenants.
VERVE Tempe is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.
