Intensive course in Tempe to focus on communication

Foundations of Compassionate Communication is an upcoming three-day course coming to Tempe at the Sonoran University Of Health Sciences this June.

Taking place over a weekend, the course is designed to help anyone who struggles with having confidence during hard talks or for those who wish to be better equipped with conflict-resolution techniques in conversations, among other things.

Building on the foundations of Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg’s book, Nonviolent Communication, the course has training designed to help people remain open and honest in conversation while at the same time communicating effectively and sincerely. These skills are gained through exercises taught in the course.

Skills taught in the course may be relevant to everything from communicating in close relationships to professional development and fostering teamwork.

The course is taught by Kathy Ziola, who is a certified trainer in Compassionate Communication/Nonviolent Communication.

Multi-day courses like this may choose to use printing services to create everything from learning material to promotional Posters.

The Foundations of Compassionate Communication course is happening at the Sonoran University Of Health Sciences in Tempe on Friday, June 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., then on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each day. The university is located at 2140 E. Broadway Rd. in Tempe. Tickets are available online.
