As a consequence of the demand for places outstripping the supply of them, GCU apparently has the opportunity to increase tuition fees. Entrance standards may also be altered. If the management of GCU wishes to promote its courses to a high caliber of student, then it could use brochure printers in Tempe.
Brian Mueller, who serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at GCU, has told the Phoenix Business Journal:
“We have very low room rates. Our residence halls are very profitable; it allows us to keep freezing tuition and it allows us to create a vibrant campus, in addition to keeping Phoenix safe for students.”
The academic quality of incoming students seems to be increasing, according to Mueller. He has told analysts that the average grades of freshmen are likely to go up further this year.
The university is attracting a lot of students to attend courses in areas which that contribute to scientific progress. About 1,000 people have enrolled in engineering alone.
Over half of the students who attend the university are from Arizona. However, about a fifth of the student body originates from California. Some individuals from Midwestern states and Southwestern states also go to the institution in question.
