Fantasy of Light Boat Parade to return Tempe for another holiday season

This holiday season, the city of Tempe will be hosting an event that will light up the night with color and sparkle.

The 2016 Fantasy of Light Boat Parade, which is being held with the support of Salt River Project (SRP), will once again be taking to the waters of Tempe Town Lake. Up to 50 brightly decorated boats in an assortment of sizes will be taking part in the event, which was first held in 1999.

In addition to the lights on the water, over one thousand luminaries will light up the paths and walkways that traverse Tempe Beach Park, courtesy of the local Rotary club. There will be food and drinks available for purchase, and also live music and other activities to enjoy. Marketing services for an event like this can be provided by a printer, which will be able to provide an assortment of items that have been customized just for the celebration.

Santa will be on hand to meet with the kids, and parents are encouraged to bring along their camera to capture the fun. At 7:00 pm, the boats will head out on the lake for the parade, with the grand finale being a huge firework display.

The 2016 Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade will be held on December 10 at Tempe Town Lake. The festivities will run from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and more information can be found on its website.
