Milhaus, owner and operator of high-quality multifamily properties and a national award-winning developer, will be expanding into North Tempe with one of its largest developments.

Milhaus will be partnering with Banyan Residential, based in Los Angeles, on a $177 million development to be located on Curry Road in Tempe. This is the first such development for Milhaus in Arizona and will feature 310 units that will include studios and one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units in the first phase which is expected to cost $91 million. There will be 621 units when the project is completed.

Amenities at the complex will include a fitness center, an outdoor spa and pool, grill stations, and a clubhouse with areas for entertainment and work., There will also be a dog park overlooking the downtown area, a library on-site, and many other amenities that are often featured in brochure printing to attract residents to such developments.

Milhaus North Tempe will be one and a half miles to downtown Tempe, a mile from Arizona State University, and less than a quarter mile to Tempe Town Lake. These days young professionals and students are looking for such college towns that are safe and clean and feature nightlife, many events, a diversity of restaurants, and a great music scene.

Brad Vogelsmeier, Vice President of Development for Milhaus, said that Tempe is an ideal location for the company to be joining the Arizona marketplace.
