Cyber-protection company opens new space in Tempe

Acronis recently announced that it has opened its new office in Tempe. Acronis is a leader in disaster recovery and data protection for physical, mobile, virtual and cloud environments.

There is a cutting-edge research and development office in the new facility as well as space for the company’s large and growing data center operations. Once it is fully staffed, it will have 150 new sales, professional services, engineering, and support personnel, many of whom will most likely require business card printing services.

The new space will enable Acronis to invest $50 million dollars in research and development efforts over the next three years. This will enable innovative advances in artificial intelligence-based cyber protection and machine learning as well as for providing consulting services for the custom creation and implementation of solutions in artificial intelligence and security.

Doug Ducey, Governor of Arizona, commented that the choice of Acronis to create a state-of-the-art research and development center in Tempe that will be able to generate hundreds of professional jobs in Arizona is a testimony to the position of the state as a leader in innovation and technology. He expressed his pride in the company’s decision to choose Arizona.

Serguei Beloussov, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Acronis, added that the investment and location in Tempe is essential to the company’s planned research and development.
