Anthony Rodia is coming to Tempe’s Improv Comedy Theatre this spring to bring his signature impressions and jokes focused on home life.
Having pivoted to a stand-up comedy career right before the COVID-19 pandemic having previously been a finance manager at a car dealership. Rodia has slowly grown a following both in person and online with his videos and other social media antics and has now amassed over 20 million views on YouTube with his comedy videos.
Known for his impressions of his own eccentric aunts and uncles, Rodia focuses more on being relatable above all else. His characters include Uncle Vinny and Zia Lucia, both of whom the comedian says are now fan favorites. He explains:
