On Friday, April 27th, 2012, the Tempe Center for the Arts Studio will be hosting “Childsplay preview: The Color of Stars”. This preview event will be held at the studio, found at 700 W Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, Arizona. This event will take place at 6pm.
The Color of Stars is an entertaining quest as Allie travels back in time to learn more about her grandfather. It takes place in 1940 in rural Maine, and young Eddie is the man of the household while his father fights overseas. The local town folk struggle with suspicion of foreigners, challenge allegiances, and deal with issues over patriotism. Eddie finds himself in the middle of a situation and must make a snap decision that will affect the rest of his young life. This Childsplay premiere is a study of the American lifestyle during World War II, with modern day overtures about the cost of war at home and overseas.
Childsplay is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, so are inviting guests to join them for this evening of entertainment. Benefits from the event will go to Childsplay and the evening features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, games, a grand birthday cake, and a silent auction. This promises to be a great night of entertainment for all of the community.
Guests will receive a program of the night’s events, no doubt prepared by local Print companies who supply events such as this with flyer printing, poster printing and other printing services to be used to advertise and memorialise events. This play is not recommended for children under eight. To book tickets to this event, please call 480-350-2822.Get a Free Quote for Print
