Scottsdale celebrates with two Christmas events
Scottsdale's McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort will be presenting immersive holiday experiences during December.
The Princess Resort has adorned its grounds with more than 2.5 million twinkling lights, and the Enchanted Plaza light shows will be synchronized to holiday music. S’mores Land will have a Polar Ice Slide, fire pits, and a Christmas carousel. Interactive fun and photo opportunities will be at Santa's Secret Headquarters. A walking path called Lagoon Lights will have illuminated displays such as candy canes and swans, ending with a four-story musical tree.

Christmas at the Princess will begin next Friday, November 21 and will end on January 3, 2026 at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort, 7575 East Princess Drive.
Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Park is another seasonal option. Train rides will take passengers through impressive light displays and kids may ride the carousel. Holiday treats and hot cocoa will be available for purchase and Santa will be on hand for photos. The Grinch will stop by on December 19, 21, and 26.
Holiday Lights at the Railroad Park Experience will be from November 28 through December 30 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at 7301 E Indian Bend Road. Designated timed entry tickets are $15.
