Scottsdale enjoys Bike Week

Spring in Scottsdale means Bike Week and 29th Annual Bike Week is scheduled for early April.

More than 100,000 motorcycle riders descend on Scottsdale every April to enjoy stunt shows, concerts, demo rides, vendors and charity rides.

The main venue will be Westworld of Scottsdale. Opening at 10:00 am, the PowerYard will feature a giant vendor village, demonstrations, installation area, food courts, bike apparel, builders, parts and accessories.

The main stage at the RockYard will feature the Headliner concerts. These concerts will require separate tickets. Wednesday Black Stone Cherry will be the hard-rock opening concert. Thursday will be a Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening. Friday country outlaw Cody Jinks will take the stage and classic-rocker Ted Nugent will close the rally on Saturday.

Fans of groups like this often go to their idols' websites to purchase promotional products such as t-shirts, mugs and headbands.

The venue will also have riding and demonstration zones where Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Indian, BMW and more will offer factory demonstration rides in test-ride loops around Scottsdale's north side. Daily custom bike shows will offer a different theme every day, builder competitions with media coverage and photography opportunities. Stunt shows will exhibit freestyle stunt teams, burnout pits and wheelie exhibitions. Various charity ride will take participants out into the desert on looped courses.

This year's Bike Week will take place April 8th through the 12th at Westworld of Scottsdale, 16601 N Pima Road.
