Scottsdale to hold annual western week

Scottsdale Western Week 2026 will take place at the end of this week.

Activities will include a frybread making class, a Parks and Recreation Wild West Roundup, and old west activities including cowboy performances, live music, roping demonstrations, and historical tours.

The signature event will be the Parada del Sol Historic Parade from 9:30 am to noon followed by the Trail's End Festival from noon to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 31.

As part of Scottsdale Western Week 2026, Arizona American Indian Tourism Association (AAITA) will once again be producing their inter-tribal culture festival, Arizona Indian Festival. All 22 Arizona Native American tribes will be represented in this cultural immersion experience.

Multiple tribes will recreate their villages with traditional dwellings, dance demonstrations, singing, and storytelling. Native artisans will demonstrate pottery and jewelry making and weaving. Guests may purchase items in a Native art market, and food vendors will be selling kettle corn, frybread, and other regional specialties.

Families will get to try their hands at making crafts in the craft area. Information will be available from tribal tourism vendors for anyone wishing to visit Arizona Tribal lands.

The main stage will have traditional music and dances. Admission will be free.

The Arizona Indian Festival 2026 will take place at the Scottsdale Civic Center, 3939 N Drinkwater Boulevard, over the weekend of January 31 and February 1. Stationery printers often use colorful pictures to help organizers promote events like this one.
