Collect-A-Con Phoenix, touted as the Nation's largest Trading Card, Animé and Pop-culture event, will be coming to Scottsdale for two days in mid-May.
Between 9000 and 1000 vendors will be selling trading cards, comic Books, sports cards, vintage toys, animé merchandise, and video games. Attendees can enjoy live performances, participate in and meet featured cosplayers, anime vice actors and celebrity guests.
Special guests will be Steven Aoki with a live performance, Kyle Hebert - a voice of characters such as Gohan, Gohan Beast, Fat Gun, Sosuke, Kiba and Ryugi, Dan Green voice for characters on Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog and Yu-Gi-Oh! and 11 other voice actors, and Pawn Stars Chumlee.
Guests are encouraged to bring their items for grading, consignment, check for authenticity, and trading and selling with vendors.
Vendors and visitors alike usually bring plenty of Business Cards to events like this to exchange with other like-minded attendees.
Tickets will range from $43.22 and $38.07 on Saturday and Sunday and $58.67 for a 2-day pass to $120.47 for VIP Fast passes. Meet-and-greet PIP passes for Steve Aoki will be $212.14 and black Collect-A-Con t-shirts will be available for $26.75. Kids under 8 will get in for free.
Collect-A-Con will take place Saturday May 16th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday May 17th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Westworld of Scottsdale North Hall 16601 N Pima Road.
