Rodeo to return to Queen Creek

Queen Creek is hosting its annual Roots n’ Boots event this March.

The festival includes classic rodeo events, carnival rides for all ages, vendor booths and family activities. There will be an antique tractor show, Friday and Saturday night dances, a pancake breakfast, a petting zoo, pony rides, kids’ rodeo activities and more. The rodeo competitions include an all women’s contest and events like bull riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Rodeo 101 tours will introduce attendees to the sport and answer common questions. The vendor area will feature small businesses selling a variety of items including gourmet snacks and western clothing. Vendors often have Business Cards available for interested customers.

Tickets are available online now. The cost for the rodeo shows is $35 per box seat. General admission costs $25 per adult and $20 per child 12 and under. Tickets will be delivered by email. Attendees should be prepared to show the QR code at the gate. Parking costs $10 per vehicle, which needs to be paid onsite. Many of the other events are free to attend. Carnival rides require tickets or unlimited wristbands. Wristbands cost $20 if purchased online in advance and $23 if purchased onsite.

Roots n’ Boots Queen Creek will take place from March 12 to March 16. The full schedule of specific events is available on the event website.
