Queen Creek to celebrate Founders Day

Queen Creek is hosting a community celebration for the town’s Founders’ Day this September.

The event will include retail and food vendors, eating contests, live music, and relay competitions. It is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. Event organizers often use poster printing services to help direct attendees to different areas and activities. Local musician Stanley Serrano will be performing on the main stage from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Children are invited to enter the “Battle of the Badge” relays, where they can compete for teams led by the Queen Creek Police Department and the Queen Creek Fire & Medical Department. Games will include sack races, jumbo tricycle races, and lawn Twister.

The event is free to attend, but there will be food and items for sale, along with some paid attractions. Wristbands, which offer unlimited access to relays, inflatables and some interactive activities, are available for pre-sale now through September 5. The pre-sale price is $12.50 per person, and the day-of price is $15. Parking will be available at Central Christian Church, and a shuttle service will be provided from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Details about shuttle service and all of the evening’s events are available on the Town of Queen Creek’s website.

Queen Creek’s Founders’ Day celebration will take place on Saturday, September 16, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Founders’ Park.
