The Mary Gloria Foundation is providing free school supplies for Queen Creek and San Tan Valley students for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Students interested in receiving supplies can sign up for the Back to School Blitz program on the Mary Gloria Foundation’s website through June 28. Registered students will be assigned a specific time to pick up their packages, which will include Backpacks, Notebooks, pencils and other items. Businesses often donate promotional Pens to this type of event. The organizers intend for the supply distribution to be a festive atmosphere to celebrate the new school year.
Supply donations, including binders, scissors, highlighters and composition Books, are being accepted through June 28. A list of 12 drop-off sites is available on the Foundation’s website. The event organizers are also looking for volunteers to assist with both day-of distribution and set-up the day before the event. Those interested can sign up on the MG Foundation’s website. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.
The Mary Gloria Foundation, previously called the Pan De Vida Foundation, is a local nonprofit that works to support the community in a variety of ways. Its programs include funding community college scholarships, providing football equipment for kids and establishing community spaces for seniors.
The Back to School Blitz event will take place on Saturday, July 13 at the San Tan Campus of Central Arizona College.
